Sound Of Music Soundtrack Online
Pop music soundtracks have always served the purpose of launching new artists or having a song piggy-back on the success of a hit movie. In the 1980s, with a lot of new sounds not getting onto commercial radio, collecting a number of a label’s artists and getting them onto a soundtrack album was a way to get music into the hands of college radio deejays, who might then give the new music a chance. Also, if the movie ended up being a hit, there was always a chance that a song from the soundtrack would be a hit.
One of the labels that tried to get in on soundtracks was the innovative label, I.R.S. This label decided to give it a go with the soundtrack to Bachelor Party.
