A teacher, parent, tutor or student can make this game in half an hour with a small budget. The game is modified easily so different skills can be practiced and it never becomes boring. It is best for 2-5 players and the enclosed design makes a game that lasts 15-25 minutes.

Materials Needed to Make a Board Game

There are a few basic materials that are required to make the board game. A piece of poster board in a light color will serve as the game board. Two colors of cardstock or poster board (blue and yellow are suggested) are needed to make the cards for the game. Finally, dice and games pieces will be necessary for playing the game. Pieces of lego or Dollarstore pieces are inexpensive and work well.

How to Make the Easy Math Game

Draw the board game on the light poster board (diagram 1) with a marker. The design of the track is not crucial so feel free to be creative. It is a basic track and starts at one end and finishes at the other with 90-100 spaces. Making a couple forks in the road where players choose the track they wish to take makes the game more fun.
